However, while it doesn’t require the regular upkeep of a natural lawn, artificial turf needs routine cleaning to prevent the build-up of harmful viruses and bacteria.

  • Turf Blade Inspection

    Over time, artificial blades will wear down due to foot traffic or direct sunlight for extended periods. In the worst-case scenario, the blades fray and break off, reducing the turf’s realistic look and feel.

  • Infill Inspection

    We will check the infill currently being used in the artificial grass. Infills, including but not limited to silica sand, crumb rubber, and antimicrobials, are the most popular. The infill is where most of the odor lies. Uric acid crystals formed from urine are reasons for producing horrible-smelling ammonia!

  • Life Inspection

    It’s vital to assess the current life span of artificial grass. We can correctly revitalize your artificial grass by pairing the first two steps. Whether it’s one month or 15 years old, our specialists can help and give advice moving forward.

  • Edge Repair

    We will inspect all the edges to see if there are any areas of lifting where the grass needs to be nailed back down. Ensuring all edges are tucked and held down will extend the life of grass by keeping its stretched profile intact. In addition, we will remove any excess nails to prevent any injuries.

  • Weed and Debris Removal

    We will remove any weeds that may be growing due to regular sprouting seasons. In addition, anything that hinders the pre-cleaning preparation—branches, leaves, or other debris—will be removed before we begin.

  • Decompact and Refluff

    Over time, erosion occurs, and the infill from the initial installation compacts. This compressed infill can clog the holes in the back of the artificial grass, affecting its ability to drain water. By power-brooming the artificial grass, we break up the infill, clean out any leftover debris, and fluff up the blades in one pass!

  • Power Wash

    Power washing the grass removes any dried spots of pet waste or vomit. Additionally, this step will rid the turf of hardened areas, which are difficult to remove with a regular garden hose.

  • Pre-Soak Treatment

    Pets, people, and the weather will increase the risk of harmful bacteria growing on artificial turf. Our pre-soak treatment used before extracting allows us to kill 99.99% of the most well-known dangerous bacteria on contact. No more worrying about what is growing beyond those turf blades!

  • Extraction
